Dr. Cheryl Lowry, MD, MPH, a retired USAF Colonel and Flight Surgeon, is a distinguished physician and co-founder of Kinetic Medical Consultants and Tactical Mind Solutions, bringing over three decades of expertise in extreme environment medicine. A graduate of Uniformed Services University and Harvard School of Public Health, she has served in high-stakes roles, including Commander of the 1st Special Operations Medical Group and Associate Medical Director at UTMB’s Center for Polar Medical Operations. Dr. Lowry’s pioneering work includes advancing medical care in underwater and hyperbaric environments, notably as a Diving Medical Officer and PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Her innovative approaches extend to neuromodulation, blending groundbreaking emerging technologies with established practices to enhance mental health and human performance, informed by her fellowship at Duke University. Additionally, she explores integrative therapies inspired by natural compounds, contributing to cutting-edge mental health solutions. A former Associate Professor at UTMB and a Fellow of the Aerospace Medical Association, Dr. Lowry’s global impact includes lectures on expedition medicine and publications on operational health in extreme settings.
