-Biography
Vincent Townsend is a decorated U.S. Air Force veteran and accomplished corporate attorney whose journey from battlefield operations to legal advocacy reflects resilience and strategic insight. As a TACP, he earned the Air Force Commendation Medal with Valor for his leadership in high-stakes deployments.
At K&L Gates LLP, Vincent was the sole associate supporting a banking and asset finance team, advising tech startups on formations, capital raises, and acquisitions. Previously at Reed Smith, he honed his skills in commercial agreements, real estate finance, and due diligence for major transactions. He brings a collaborative, solutions-driven approach to governance, risk, and compliance.
Vincent holds a JD and MBA from the University of San Francisco. He recently attended a therapeutic retreat at Ambio Life Sciences in Mexico, supported by Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions (VETS)—a nonprofit advancing psychedelic-assisted healing for combat veterans. The retreat, which integrates ibogaine therapy with somatic and psychological support, reflects Vincent’s commitment to holistic well-being and innovative approaches to trauma recovery.
Outside of work, he's a committed father and husband. He’s also an avid motorcyclist and off-road adventurer, often exploring the outdoors with his English Mastiff and Pitbull.
