Research Focus
Our aim is to expedite scientific advancement beyond existing academic paradigms by capitalizing on the strengths of non-profit, for-profit, and academic sectors through a triangulated approach.

SCI-DI is anchored on three fundamental pillars: scuba/hyperbarics, neuromodulation, and plant medicines, emphasizing psychedelics and other holistic plant-based remedies. We concentrate on spinal cord injury/TBI, adaptive scuba and dive medicine, neuromodulation, neuroinflammation, policy, and advocacy.

Our board consists of medical, academic, and subject matter experts committed to excellence in their fields. Fueled by cohesive teamwork and infused with positive, playful, and inquisitive energy, we venture into underexplored domains, employing innovative strategies and technologies.
Scuba and Hyperbarics
We explore the therapeutic benefits of adaptive scuba diving and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and enhance mental well-being for SCI, TBI and other neurological patients.
Neuromodulation
Studying the impact of cutting-edge neuromodulation techniques. We use devices such as vagus nerve stimulation, photic stimulation, audiotory stimulation and more to improve mood, sleep, and overall health
Plants as Medicines
Investigating plant medicine effects.
We study psychedelics for neurological recovery, focusing on measurable biomarkers like cytokines
