Dr. James K. Wright, MD, is a distinguished physician and researcher with a career spanning military, clinical, and academic domains. A graduate of The University of Chicago and Harvard Medical School, he specialized in general and plastic surgery, with advanced training in hyperbaric medicine at the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine. His pioneering work includes leading clinical investigations at Davis Hyperbaric Laboratory and serving as a Special Tactics Group Surgeon. Dr. Wright has significantly advanced wound care and recovery techniques, notably through innovative oxygen therapies that enhance healing in extreme conditions. His research explores novel approaches to brain injury recovery, leveraging cutting-edge neuromodulation techniques to improve outcomes for traumatic brain injury and post-concussion syndrome. Additionally, he has investigated natural compounds to support neurological health, contributing to holistic treatment strategies. With over 30 publications and leadership in trials like the NBIRR Study, Dr. Wright continues to shape regenerative medicine.
